Materials
- Yarn: 1 skein Lion Brand DIY Glow Natural Yarn
- Hook: 4.0 mm (G-6) crochet hook
- Notions:
- Darning needle
- Scissors
- 4 clear star beads (optional)
Abbreviations
- MC: Magic Circle / Magic Ring
- ch: chain
- dc: double crochet
- sl st: slip stitch
- sp: space
Instructions
Round 1: In MC, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc, *ch 2, 3 dc*; repeat from * to * 2 more times, ch 2, sl st to top of starting ch-3 to join. (4 dc clusters and 4 ch-2 spaces)
Round 2 (Arms / Points): Sl st into next ch-2 sp. *(Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into ch-2 sp, sl st to next ch-2 sp*; repeat from * to * around all 4 ch-2 spaces.
Row 3 (Cross Base Extension): Ch 1, turn. Sl st into the ch-2 sp of the last arm worked, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into same sp, ch 1, turn.
Row 4: Sl st into ch-2 sp, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) into sp, ch 1, turn.
Row 5 (Final Row): Sl st into ch-2 sp, ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 3, sl st back into the same ch-2 space.
Finishing
- Fasten off, cut yarn, and weave in ends.
- Optional Beads: Attach clear star beads to the points of the cross (or at the bottom point only, depending on preference).
